The Larrakia Cultural Centre is the place  where the Larrakia people, culture, language and stories are celebrated and kept safew for future generations.

Set on the lands of the Larrakia people, the Larrakia Cultural Centre building design evokes a bird in flight, a Larrakia ancestral being, protecting the land and the people, inviting guests to gather, learn, and celebrate in a space that reflects tens-of-thousands of years of cultural heritage.

The Centre is designed to reflect the heritage, stories, and identity of the Larrakia people. It is a place of connection, where a contemporary and modern venue intertwines with strong presence of an ancient Larrakia culture.

Located near Darwin’s waterfront precinct and major accommodation providers, the Larrakia Cultural Centre is set minutes from Darwin’s CBD, hotels, and tourism attractions.
