The Parks and Reserves of the Northern Territory are set aside as conservation and recreation areas for you to enjoy and native animals to live in safety. To keep the parks as great places for people and native animals, pets are generally not allowed in Northern Territory Parks and Reserves. Park visitors found to be in breach of these regulations are subject to on-the-spot fines.

Where Can I Leave my Pet?
If it is necessary for your pet to travel with you, it makes sense to check ahead and see where you can leave them whilst visiting certain Parks. A range of dog kennels and catteries exist near Darwin and nearby suburbs.
