With our increasingly successful sale and rental of vehicles to youth Travellers and Backpackers from all over the world, the role will see you manage all aspects of the day to day operation of the branch.
The successful candidate must lead by example, have a fantastic attitude and will take pride in accomplishing any feat put before them. You will be asked to fit into the unique culture and dynamics of not just our company but the backpacker industry in general. Responsibilities will include customer service, sales and marketing, branch presentation, management reporting, staffing, all local fleet management, purchasing and sales. It is a front office and back office hands on job. As we are tourism based, we have very busy periods and some quiet periods, your time management skills will ultimately be the measure of your success.

Tourism Top End is the peak Tourism Association in the Top End of Australia's Northern Territory and has been representing the interests of the Tourism Industry since 1973.
As a not-for-profit, membership-based Association, Tourism Top End is responsible for regional destination development, marketing and advocacy, We promote the Top End for both leisure and business events supporting our 500 plus members. The Association operates the Top End Travel and Information Centre in Darwin, being one of the leading tourist booking facilities in Australia.
Tourism Top End serves the area known as the 'Top End' in the Northern Territory which includes the Cities of Darwin and Palmerston, World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park, Katherine region including Nitmiluk National Park, Douglas Daly Region, Arnhem Land, Litchfield National Park and the Tiwi Islands.
The Association also manages a variety of tourism industry programs in partnership with Northern Territory Government, City of Darwin and the Australian Tourism Industry Council.
About the role
As Executive Assistant, you will be self-motivated and agile, assisting with the administrative essentials of the Association. The Executive Assistant is for a professional individual who is well-presented at all times and able to maintain discretion. Dealing with both internal colleagues and external stakeholder on behalf of the management team and Board.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting the General Manager in the delivery of the Associations strategic plan and it partnership commitments in other programs;
- Secretariat support to the Board, preparing agendas, collating and disseminating papers, organising equipment, responses, catering, travel and venues as required;
- Complete administrative support to the General Manager, coordinating the General Manager’s schedule and diary, assessing priorities and ensuring the General Manager is well prepared for meetings and appointments;
- Assisting with the General Manager and Board’s travel schedule around the Top End;
- Preparing sectorial sub-committee meetings and providing support to the members as required, coordinating with others to ensure al aspects have been considered;
- Liaising effectively with members of the Executive team, Board and all staff, developing strong working relationships with stakeholders;
- Developing and maintaining administrative systems for the General Manager’s office ensuring effective and efficient work output and oversee the day to day running;

About the role
Crocosaurus Cove is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their Retail and Ticket Sales team. The Retail and Tickets department is the first point of contact for all guests entering the park. This department handles all ticket sales, bookings, phone calls, and email correspondence for the park as well as looking after our souvenir shop. This role is well suited to a highly organised team player with previous experience in the retail and tourism industries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing ticket sales, incoming bookings, phone calls, retail sales, and customer enquiries
- Conducting efficient shop openings and closings
- Maintaining presentation of the retail shop and conducting monthly stock takes

Essentially Skill Requirements
- Exemplary customer service
- Confident and experienced in cash handling and POS operation
- Skilled with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs or able to learn quickly

- Previous experience with Rezdy (our booking system) or other booking systems
